I could never properly express the gratitude I have for the people I have been lucky enough to work with and learn from, and for getting to be a part of the tradition of tattooing. I began tattooing in Cleveland in 1990 and owe my start to Frank Lee, one of the most naturally gifted artists ever to have done it. In 1992 I moved to Miami and worked and learned under Lou Scibberas, having the opportunity to work with a crew of many of the most talented and technically brilliant artists in the world. After living and working in Miami, Minneapolis, Chicago and Cleveland, as well as traveling extensively, I found a home in Columbus. I appreciate the lasting support of the tattoo community in this city, the clients I’ve been able to work with and the artists who have inspired me. Columbus has an appreciation of the real art and tradition of tattooing and it’s fantastic to be a part of it.

I am inspired by tattoo art that incorporates the anatomy as part of the artwork and has a timeless quality, often best expressed though large-scale Japanese tattooing. I seek the implementation of traditional American imagery combined with inspiration from a wide range of art and architectural imagery that pushes the technical envelope into that proven aesthetic.
